Maintenance Electrciian

Our client is a globally recognised manufacturing business currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their engineering and maintenance team based in Seven Hills.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring plant equipment, machinery, and site infrastructure operate safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for both breakdown and preventative maintenance while supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation faults
• Maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and control equipment
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Assist with engineering projects, upgrades, and commissioning activities
• Work with PLC systems, drives, sensors, and automation equipment
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with WHS and Australian standards
• Coordinate and manage contractors on-site where required
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Previous experience within manufacturing, industrial, or chemical environments
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with PLCs, automation systems, VFDs, and control circuits
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance systems
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
